Apple: Zwei-Faktor-Authentifizierung wird bei iOS 11 und macOS High Sierra zur Pflicht

Die Sicherheit auf Apple´s Betriebssystemen wird verstärkt. In iOS 11 und macOS High Sierra wird die Zwei-Faktor-Authentifizierung zur Pflicht.

Seit geraumer Zeit bietet Apple die Zwei-Faktor-Authentifizierung für eure Apple-ID an. Damit könnt ihr euren Kontoschutz um eine zusätzliche Sicherheitsbarriere erweitern.

Bisher konnte man diesen Kontoschutz optional wählen. Dies soll sich jedoch mit iOS 11 und macOS High Sierra ändern. Apple versendet aktuell E-Mails an Nutzer der aktuellen Beta-Versionen mit dem Inhalt, dass die Apple-ID automatisch um die Zwei-Faktor-Authentifizierung erweitert wird. Macerkopf liegt z.B. eine solche E-Mail schon vor.

Weiter geht aus der E-Mail hervor, dass die Zwei-Faktor-Authentifizierung für die sichere Nutzung  neuer Funktionen von iOS 11, macOS High Sierra und der iCloud erforderlich sei.
