Ich weiss nicht genau, ob und wie es funktioniert, aber bei eBay gibt es unlocks für vodafone uk.
Weiss nicht ob legal, ob es funktioniert und ob das real ist...
Vielleicht kennst sich ja jemand damit aus und kann mehr infos geben

Ich habe folgenden Text von Vodafone uk per mail erhalten:
Thank you for writing to Vodafone Customer Services.
I understand your handset is locked by Vodafone. All phones supplied by Vodafone are network locked. To unlock the phone and use any other network's SIM card, you'll need the Network Unlock Code (NUC). We supply the NUC only for phones supplied by us.
If your phone is over 12 months old there will be no charge for supplying the NUC and if your phone is within the 12 months period will be a charge of £19.99 for the NUC for your phone.
If your phone is within 12 months then you need to top up your phone with £20.00 so that we can deduct the charges for providing you the NUC.
As you wish to get it unlocked, you’ll need to purchase a Vodafone PAYG (Pay As You Go) SIM card.

Once you receive card, please register it online by following the steps below:
· Go to _www.vodafone.co.uk
· Click on "My Account"
· Click on "Register"
· Enter Mobile Telephone number. Click Submit.
· A proof of ownership security code is sent as SMS.
· Enter security code
· Enter Account details to confirm Account Holder. Click Submit.
· Enter user details – Name, Date of Birth, Username, Password and Secret Question. Click Submit.
· Confirmation message shown and confirmation email sent.
Once registered successfully, please write to us with the following details so that we can generate NUC of your handset:
· 11 digit phone number
· 20 digit SIM number
· Last top up amounts
· Activation Date

Aus früheren Beiträgen meine ich noch vage zu entnehmen, dass man auch in deren Netz eingebucht sein muss, kann aber auch inzw. anders sein.
