Entschuldigung Sie für meine sehr schleckt Deutsch! Unter is eine Englisch version auch.

Ich bin eine Austauschschüler in Hille, Germany (bei Minden) und ich habe ein iPhone 2G welche ich habe "unlocked und Jailbroken". Ich habe eine "Prepaid handy" mit T-Mobile, und so ich möchte zu mit meinem iPhone machen (nur mit der Prepaid SIM karte).

Ich weiss ich kann das machen aber ich möchte Internet (data?) auch. Ich möchte kein 2 jahre vertrag, nur für wann ich bin hier. Kann jemand mir mit diesem helfen? Ich weiss es nicht welche Tariff ich brauche, und alles. Ich benutze nicht viel Internet. Ich möchte es gerade für, wenn ich heraus bin, und nicht durch WLAN.

I'm an American exchange student in a tiny town called Hille. I am here for the next 6 months, and I have an unlocked iPhone 2G 8GB. I have a prepaid handy card and will be using that in it (i know this is possible)

The only problem I have is that I want to use internet, when I'm not by WLAN. I will not use much, only to check my email or Facebook every once in a while. I will do most of my iPhone internet at home. I do not know which tariff I should get for the best internet, or anything like that. Can anyone else me with this situation?

Kommt ganz drauf an wie bei Dir die Netze dort ausgebaut sind.

Wenn das E-Netz dort gut ist, schau mal bei blau.de .
Dort sind die Minutenpreise zum telefonieren recht günstig und es gibt eine Option für Daten mit 100MB für 3,90 Euro.
Wenn Du wirklich nicht viel im Internet machst reicht das völlig aus.
Aber wenn die 100MB verbraucht sind wird weiter abgerechnet. Ist keine Flat-Rate.

Its à Flatrate and After 200mb (waste?) you get curbed on GPRS..But i think its enough for you...

simyo.de wäre auch eine Möglichkeit.

By the way.... You should change the title of your thread into something like ""Austauschschüler in Deutschland - Suche PrePaid-Daten-Tarif"".
So you have a more detailed description of your problem and you will probabaly get more answers.

Your German is not that bad, think it will be pretty good after a few month

The first question at all:
Do you want to keep your T-Mobile Simcard?

If not, I think the provider already mentioned by the other users here would be much cheaper for you!
If the network is good in Hille, I can recommend blau.de (Have a look: http://blau.de) It's a prepaid card.
Downloading 1 gig of data would just cost you a little less than 10 bucks.
(I think the network should be ok for your usage )

If you decide to use T-Mobile, you'll need to pay for 2 years, i think...

I'm up for trying anything. The blau.de is one that I'm definately thinking of sticking with. I usually get GREAT T-Mobile service everywhere I go around here so but I think I'd rather sacrifice that for great internet!!

yes but the tmobile prepaid cards are often not the cheapest. You can also try the Medion Mobile Card from Aldi with that Card (E-Plus) you can use 3 different tipes of Internet Charges. 1. 25ct per 1MB. 2. 1.99 for 24Hours 3. 14,99 for a whole Month but you have the 2g and Eplus has a great Edge Net its an Option or the Blau.de Prepaid.
