Das kann man doch mit FolderIcons verwirklichen. Vorausgesetzt das läuft unter iOS 6.x

FolderIcons und BeautiFolders funktionieren leider nicht unter 6.x.
FolderIcons wird wohl auch nicht angepasst. Der Entwickler (Vertex) meldet sich weder per Mail noch in dem Forum, in dem er aktiv war.
Folder Icon Change funktioniert auch nicht.

What I really didn't expect was for him to very confidently suggest (without me having asked) that FolderIcons for iOS 6.x is "almost done" and the imminent schedule he gave me for the release (which I'd never even pushed him for) was a surprise to me, too.

Something I have to say here, is please don't shoot the messenger. This is purely what I've been told directly from the source himself. Things change. Priorities and concerns change for people. For my part, I'm really not trying to score points over the internet, I'm just passing on something that surprised me and made me happy, and I'd thought that perhaps it was a bit selfish to just sit on that info by myself.

"Okay, so, I'm trying out the beta.

I won't go into the finer details of what's happening with it or what's great and what needs tweaking, but it's really looking good and working pretty well so far. A few things need to be ever-so-slightly ironed-out, but really so little. I feel bad because I'm being really blunt about everything and anything I pick up on. I'm pointing every single, tiny anomaly out. It really should be so good, though. Even now, it's great. I don't want to speak too soon... but it seems very well made.

It's really been made very simple as it is (yet perfectly functional and covers all you need), but even at this stage, just using it to do testing, I can honestly say my home screen looks infinitely better with what is currently only a very limited set of icons and icon backgrounds for the beta model. Clearly it just doesn't need hundreds of icons to choose from for a mere test of functionality, but honestly... even with these few, it actually makes that much of a difference. It's just very neat and clean looking. Obviously, I would expect people to go nuts with downloading their own icons from various sites once it goes live.

So, yes. It's on its way. It exists.

Sorry, not trying to be a smartarse or a bigshot with all the (vague) info. It's just, I'm heavily waiting on this too, so I really want this to work amazingly.

Vertex scheint aus der Versenkung wieder aufgetaucht zu sein.

Es sind noch noch viele Icons vorhanden, es funktioniert aber schon ganz gut. Wenn er Folder gedrückt wird, erscheint in der linken Ecke ein Zahnrad, über das das Einstellungsmenü erreicht wird.

Es gibt kein eigenes Icon und auch kein Menü in den Einstellungen.

Das importieren neuer .png ist mir noch nicht gelungen, aber ich denke, das wird noch.

Neue Icon kann man einfach in folgendes Verzeichnis speichern und dann entsprechend auswählen:

/user/media/foldericons/foreground/

Also reicht es nicht die einfach in dem Ordner zu kopieren? Müssen noch vorher umbenannt werden?

Bei der alten Version hat es gereicht die neuen Ions einfach in den vorgesehenen Ordner, dann auswählen und fertig.

Wie sie heißen, ist egal. Die Icon müssen nur den Devicespezifischen Zusatz im Namen tragen. Zum Beispiel xxx@2x.png beim iPhone 4S.

Mit iFile bastle ich schon die ganze Zeit. Ich habe jetzt einmal Winterboard deinstalliert, jetzt klappt es. Ich muß jetzt nur noch abgerundete Icons finden. Das, was ich aus einer App genommen habe, ist eckig.

Na ja, so richtig klappt es doch noch nicht.
Ich kann Icons nur auswählen, wenn sie im Backgrounds Ordner sind. Dann werden sie aber zu klein dargestellt, weil der Rahmen fehlt. Das sieht dann so aus:

   

Die Icons haben eine Größe von 72x72 Pixel und den richtigen Namen. Dennoch kann ich sie nicht aktivieren, wenn sie im Foregrounds Ordner stecken.

Kann sich eventuell einmal jemand nachschauen, was an den .png nicht stimmt?

So, jetzt hab' ich es. Auch wenn ich mich nur mit mir selbst unterhalte, vielleicht hilft es noch jemand anderem.........

Ich habe die .png mit "Vorschau" (Mac) auf 77x77 Pixel skaliert und als Backgrounds aktiviert.

So, neuer Jailbreak, neues Glück.
Ich möchte natürlich immer noch die Icons der Folder ändern. Habe Vertex wegen eines Updates von FolderIcons angeschrieben. 'Mal sehen, was sich tut. Wenn jemand eine Lösung für iOS 7.0.4 hat, bitte her damit.

Vertex wird FolderIcons in den nächsten zwei Wochen für nonA7 Geräte aktualisieren. Für 64Bit wird es noch eine unbestimmte Zeit dauern, da er kein iPhone 5s besitzt und als Student sich kein Gerät kaufen kann.
