iFuntastic, BitSplit's iPhone customization utility, has just hit version 5.0r3. The new version, an 84 megabyte download,
offers the following fixes and changes:

-1.1.4 unshackling (based on ziphone 2.5c).
-Finally able to automatically recognize device and firmware.
-Now displaying device capacity and IP address (the best I can).

Rearranged the Setup Page; combined firmware downloads, added new functions (please read the associated info)

-Install BSD & SSH (without Installer.app - however, Installer is the preferred way).
-Change SSH Password (also allows you to use ssh without typing your password every time).
-You can now drag files into the file manager not only to add, but also to replace others (i.e. simplified 'Replace With...').

Added a couple of functions to iFundex
-Make a 'snapshot' file list of the phone or iPod.
-Compare two snapshots - lists the files and folders that have been added or removed.

iFuntastic 5.5 Released

On Wednesday, developer BitSplit has released iFuntastic 5.5, the latest version of the popular Macintosh-only iPhone modification utility.
Sporting features such as jailbreaking, file manager, and UI customization, the new version weighs in at 60MBs
and can be downloaded from iFuntastic.com. New in this version is an improved file manager and enhanced interface image editing tools.

* simplified setup (jailbreak -> unshackle -> iFuntastic Support -> Ready 4 iFun!)
* faster data transfer between disk and device
* drag and drop data transfer
* multiple devices can be connected for direct data transfer between them
* displays image previews, image dimensions, file sizes, permissions and modification dates
* conversion of png and plist files to editable formats
* conversion of voicemail files for addition to iTunes
* image editor with support for rotation, scaling, color adjustment mask and overlay layers
* sound editor with volume and duration adjustment; fade-in and fade-out
* XML field editor for individual property list settings
* edit settings files hold the changes made to a particular file
* edit settings can be grouped into edit sets and made into custom themes
* 'smart update' shows edited images on the device by automatically restarting the SpringBoardor the application whose files are being edited
* improved file and folder filtering and full text search

kann mir jemand sagen wo ich das bsd subsystem downloaden kann???
weil der installer funktioniert bei mir wie bei vielen im moment leider nicht.
