Although there's still no Google Earth application available for the iPhone, someone else may be determined to offer a cool alternative.
Google Earth developer Frank Taylor recently noticed a 3D Earth application being released for the iPhone from Colorado company Earthscape.
Taylor has posted the following YouTube video of the application, which may give Google Earth a run for its money and incorporates the iPhone
and iPod touch's tilt sensors to help navigate around a 3D space:
No word has been on a timetable for availability for the iPhone and the software is in private beta for Windows
with Mac and Linux versions said to be coming soon.
