Hallo, ich habe mein neues (T-Mobile) iPhone 3GS - 32GB bekommen und möchte es mit einer T-Mobile Karte aktivieren. Ich habe nur einen schwarzen Bildschirm. Beim einschalten erscheint für ca. 20 sec. der Apfel und verschwindet dann wieder. Das war alles. Verbinden kann ich mit iTunes, nur leider wird auch da nichts angezeigt. Lediglich das Update wird angeboten (will ich aber nicht). Ich weiß nicht mal welche Firmware drauf ist (da es neu ist nehme ich die 3.1.2 an).

Was kann ich tun außer mich an den T-Mobile Shop zu wenden (die werden mir das 3.1.3 Update draufmachen und nicht austauschen)?

versuch mal nen reset(on off knop und home 10sek gedrückt halten)
wenn das ned hilft musst ne wiederherstellung mir ner 3.1.2 fw machen

Teilerfolg hatte ich nur mit einer CFW. Da gab es "nur" den Fehlercode 1600

Falls es jemand interessiert...

Ich habe die CFW hier aus dem Forum geladen (nicht aktiviert) und das iPhone per DFÜ-Modus
wiederherstellen können.
Danach hat alles, so wie es sein soll, funktioniert.



Hier kann zu gemacht werden...

stehe seit Tagen vor dem gleichen Problem, bekomme aber immer die gleiche Fehlermeldung:

Habe DFU Modus aktiviert, wil aber trotzdem nicht.

Kannst du mir eine genaue vorgehensweise schreiben?

habe ebenfalls das gleiche problem. kannst du vielleicht nen link zu der custom fw posten, die du genutzt hast?

Einfach oben bei suche Custom Firmware eingeben, da wirst du finden was du brauchst...

naja, aber in dem custom FW thread gibt es ja mehrere fws für das iphone 3gs. insofern wäre für mich interessant, welche der zig möglichen FWs er für sein 3gs genommen hat..

zuerst hatte ich eine "nichtaktivierte" CFW genommen. Später aber auf die CFW von redparkz geändert.
Die hatte das was ich brauchte.
Es war eine 3.1.2 mit Cydia und aktiviert.
Den Unlock hatte ich mit Ultrasn0w gemacht (alter Bootloader).
Vorgehensweise: siehe hier im Forum unter "ANLEITUNGEN"

After searching for more quite a while I finally found a way to restore my iPhone 3GS in 3.1.2 with iTunes even though 3.1.3 is released!!

Unfortunately I needed a PC for the first step, everything else i did on my Mac, with newest iTunes:
First I downloaded iREB (http://ih8sn0w.com)

(follow the instructions and try to fetch your file from apple. ignore the error message and just proceed with uploading to SHSH server cydia saurik. I didn't have a file on my destop and it still worked!)

next go to http://www.saurik.com/id/12#howto and follow the instructions with the hosts file.

now you have to download the original 3.1.2 firmware (cfw didn't work for me)

next shut of your iPone by pressing the home and power button at the same time until the screen goes blank. Now release the power button and plug your iPhone to the computer. Once iTunes detects the iPhone press Restore while holding the alt-key (mac) or shift (windows). Select the downloaded 3.1.2 firmware and press OK.

After a couple of automatic reboots your iPhone should be up and running again. This is NO Jailbreak or Unlock. So you have to do that (again) if you want to, following the instructions you can find everywhere. Now you only have to load your backup on the phone (as long as you have one).
