Hallo,

gibt es eine Möglichkeit, die Coverflow Funktion ohne JB am iphone zu deaktivieren?

Ich habe das Handy im Auto in der Halterung immer im Querformat (Navi, Video) und somit ist es nicht möglich, mal eben einen Podcast oder eine Wiedergabeliste zu starten ohne das Telefon aus der Halterung zu nehmen.

Ich habe da noch nichts gefunden. Weder die Möglichkeit zum deaktivieren noch die Chance einen Podcast im Querformat zu starten. Bin ich zu blind ...

Nein, geht nicht. Der gute Steve findet wohl, dass so etwas viiiel zu stark in das System eingreifen würde.

Eigentlich eine gute Idee. Mach das doch mal. Man konnte doch in letzter Zeit immer Berichte über interessante Mails lesen, die irgendwelche Leute von Steve Jobs' "persönlicher" Mail-Adresse (ich glaube sjobs@apple.com) als Antwort bekommen haben.

Hello Steve,

today I faced a security problem with my iphone in my car!

I'm using it with Navigon Navigation Software and the Navigon Car Kit. To have the best navigation view, the iphone is installed in Landscape Mode.

When I do this, it's not possible to select any Podcast, Playlist or something else because the iPod program always shows the Coverflow function in Landscape Mode.

So what I have to do, is to take the iphone out of the holder, select in horizontal position what I want to hear and then put the iphone back to the holder.

This takes much more attention as if I could do this while the iphone is still installed to the holder, because than I still look ahead and can see what happens in front of me on the street.

A very easy solution to avoid any accidents while people touch on their iphone while driving a car, is to add a little firmware feature, to switch of the Coverflow function when I don't want to use it. This function is available in normal ipods, so why not in the iphone / ipod touch.
