habe grade mal bei Ebay geschaut was da manche für ein 16 GB Version hinlegen. Ich glaube viele wissen noch gar nicht das, dass neue Iphone rauskommt oder besser rauskommen soll. Die bezahlen da fast 500 Euro für das Teil.

Apple to Launch App Store, Release Next-Gen iPhone,
Third-Party iPhone/iPod Touch Applications Come Monday

Per the rumor mill, Apple is expected to open its long-awaited App Store at the beginning of the Worldwide Developers' Conference next Monday.
A source close to the story cited that the online store will launch and be up and running that day with Steve Jobs
giving the keynote address at the event.

Other reports have only contributed to the fervor. A recent Gizmodo report has stated that the next generation iPhone, which is expected
to run on the iPhone 2.0 software, will be released on Monday. The upgraded operating system software is expected to enable the delivery of applications through the App Store.

For owners of the current generation of iPhones, the iPhone 2.0 software is anticipated to work with both the current iPhone as well as the long-anticipated 3G version. Another source close to the story cited that the new iPhone will combine GPS and faster networking speeds,
thereby allowing for a range of location-specific applications to arrive on the iPhone, putting Apple's handset on par with competing devices.

MacTalk.com.au posts a photo of a box that was reportedly sent to Australian resellers yesterday. The boxes are sealed with a warning:

DO NOT OPEN UNTIL TUESDAY JUNE 10TH, 2008

June 10th (in Australia) is the day of the Worldwide Developers Conference keynote speech where Steve Jobs is expected to announce the 3G capable iPhone. MacTalk speculates that the box may actually contain a demo model of the 3G iPhone.
Our source believes that the iPhone contained within is for promotional purposes, ie. after it's official unveiling at WWDC next week, the iPhone will go on display with a sign saying 'look how cool I am - you can buy me on this date'.

Vodafone and SingTel both announced that they would be bringing the iPhone to Australia later this year.

3G iPhone To Be Shorter, Thinner Than Griffin 3G iPhone Case

Last week we saw photos of what appeared to be metal molds for Griffin's FlexGrip silicone iPhone case for the 3G iPhone.
If new information from Ideals China is correct, then Griffin could be in trouble. They claim to have word from an insider source
that the 3G iPhone will be just a little bit shorter and thinner than the shells that have been circulating China,
meaning that their case has the wrong dimensions.

Below is a representation of the two specifications. In blue is the dimensions of the Griffin case, and the new rumored dimensions are in black.
The new dimensions are 2.0mm shorter and 0.5mm thinner than Griffin's case design, meaning that either the rumors are fake or Griffin
will have to revise their case design. It would also mean that Griffin has wasted a lot of time and money, and they have tens of thousands
of silicone cases that don't fit anything. I wouldn't want to be in their shoes right now if this turns out to be true.

ich nehme mal an, das neue iphone wird dann kurz nach seiner vorstellung auch endlich in der s hweiz offiziell verkauft. Die grossen mobile netzwerkbetreiber haben ja noch kein datum bekannt gegeben, aber wahrscheinlich müssen sie einfach bis zur vorstellung des neuen umts-gerätes warten.
