Folgendes Problem:

Ich habe eine Western Digital My Book Essential 640GB über USB an meinem MacBook Pro CD 2,4GHz (2007) mit Snow Leopard (Update vor ca. einer Woche). Die lief bisher immer einwandfrei. Seit Freitag allerdings bekomme ich immer ne Kernel Panic, wenn ich versuche, die Platte anzuschließen. Komischerweise läuft das Teil an nem Windowsrechner aber ohne Probleme.

Hat vielleicht jemand ne Idee, an was das liegen könnte und wie ich das wieder hin bekomme?

hast du wichtige daten drauf? wenn nicht würde ich sie unter Windows formatieren, dann an den mac hängen und umformatieren.
passiert der Crash nur bei dieser Platte, oder auch bei anderen USB Medien?

ISt bisher nur bei der Platte vorgekommen. Die Platte is zu 3/4 mit Daten belegt, da fällt formatieren leider erst mal flach.

An die Daten komm ich ja noch, zur Not könnt ich die auch auf meine neue Terrabyte Platte am Windowsrechner kopieren, das möcht ich aber bei der Menge an Daten erstmal vermeiden.

Komisch, ich hab die Platte grad an einem 13" Pro angeschlossen und da wird sie ohne Probleme gemountet. Muss also an meinem Rechner liegen!?

Stimmt, daran hab ich gar net gedacht, gibt ja für alles Logs. Aber das Ding sagt mir viel zu viel . Aber da darin mal paragon software erwähnt wird, bestätigt sich meine Vermutung, das es wohl am NTFS Treiber liegt, da die Platte ja auch NTFS Format hat.

Aber auch der Uninstaller von PAragon und anschließender Neustart haben nichts gebracht. Muss ich wohl doch die Daten über nen anderen Rechner auf ne neue Platte verschieben

Hat zu meinem Problem vielleicht noch jemand nen Tipp, wie ich es ohne Neuinstallation des Systems lösen könnte? Auch nach entfernen des NTFS Treibers tritt der Fehler weiterhin auf.

Hast du Paragon auch wirklich restlos deinstalliert?

Ich denke schon, hab den Uninstaller laufen lassen und auch sonst alles, was ich über Paragon und NTFS finden konnte, gelöscht.
